The Opportunity:
Senior Management Accountant - Hybrid Working - Global Manufacturing Business - Up to £55,000 Salary
Our client, a global manufacturing business based in County Durham, is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation in a key role.
Main duties/responsibilities:
*Day to day management accounting and reporting activities, meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines;
*Working with KPIs and delivering key information efficiently and on schedule;
*Analyse, interpret and present data;
*Interaction with key operational contacts to obtain time sensitive data;
*Standardisation and simplification of key processes;
*Active role in improving departmental KPIs;
*Support flash and official forecasting;
*Work with internal and external audit; and
*Ad hoc duties as required.
You will be/have:
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent;
*Experience and knowledge of Corporate Governance, especially within a business based across multiple sites/locations;
*Working knowledge of UK regulatory standards, including IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley;
*Capable of meeting strict deadlines with excellent organisational skills;
*Able to challenge and review financial information provided constructively;
*Strong communication skills; and
*Knowledge of SAP desirable.
