Operations Manager - Open Spaces
Full Time, Permanent
£36,000pa
Devizes
As an Open Spaces Operational Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team and the overall management of all owned open spaces and buildings.
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the delivery of services to agreed standards
*Identify staff training needs
*Recommend appropriate staffing levels
*Performance reporting
*Ensure the delivery of services are within the agreed budget
*Ensure all building and equipment are maintained and serviced
*Ordering stock
*Liaise with external contractors
*Maintain Health and Safety records to include conducting risk assessments and COSHH sheets
*Investigate any complaints
Skills & Experience:
*Previous experience in a similar role is essential
*Experience managing a team is essential
*Experience with grounds maintenance / horticulture experience essential
*Excellent verbal communication skills
*Driving licence
This position is working 37 hours per week 5 days out of 7
Most weeks will be working Monday - Friday however, some weekend/evening working is needed to cover events
