Job Description:
Title: Financial Reporting Accountant
Location: central London, hybrid (1/2 days WFH)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + bonus and benefits
The company:
Our client, a global Oil & Gas group headquartered in London, is seeking a technically adept, Big Four/Top 10 audit trained Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing finance team in London.
Responsibilities:
*Involvement in group consolidation process and the production of quarterly and annual statutory accounts under IFRS
*Preparation of parts of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management.
*Assisting with group budgeting and forecasting
*Preparation of additional supporting schedules for reviews and providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders.
*Maintenance and quarterly uploading of the Company’s lease, depreciation, deferred charges, interest accruals and other accounting schedules as required.
*Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions. (depending on experience)
Role Requirements
*The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 4 years experience in external audit
*Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team
*Ability to meet deadlines
