Finance Analyst
Salary: £28,700pa

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join one of Simpson Judge’s clients to work on a 5 year project over in Blackburn.
Key Responsibilities
*Undertake project reporting for bids, both financial and against targets.
*Provide support to Financial and Management Accountant on other project claims for the company
*Undertake tasks allocated by the Head of Finance within the Finance Function to support the team.
*Keep up to date with legislation relating to the finance function that may affect the reporting of financial information and taxation.
*Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with the policies and procedures of the company and that accurate and appropriate recording of income and expenditure occurs.
*Respond to any queries and requests for other staff members and external bodies in a customer focused manner.
*Assist at company events which may require occasional evening and weekend working.
*Support the finance team as required and especially in relation to IT issues and development of the accounting software.
Requirements
*ACCA part qualified OR AAT Level 4
*Proven ability in accountancy (minimum 2-3 years)
*Proficiency in accounting software
*Knowledge of Xledger accounting systems (preferred)
*Must be immediately available
