Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to support children in a vibrant mainstream primary school in Liverpool? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our team and make a positive impact on young learners’ lives.
About the Role This full-time role involves working in a friendly and dynamic school environment, supporting children across various year groups to help them achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent classroom management abilities, and the flexibility to adapt to a variety of learning needs.
Responsibilities and Duties As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
*Work with individuals and small groups of children, including those with additional needs.
*Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
*Provide targeted interventions to support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
*Assist in the preparation of teaching resources and materials.
*Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during activities and breaks.
*Contribute to maintaining accurate records of student progress and behavior.
*Promote good behavior in line with school policies and encourage positive attitudes to learning.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have:
*A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
*Experience working in a primary school setting.
*Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.
*Up-to-date DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
*Safeguarding knowledge and recent training.
*A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work as part of a team.
