SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: North Liverpool
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: £86-£96 per day
Start Date: 13th January 2025

Your Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
*Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students access the curriculum.
*Encouraging positive behavior and fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.
*Assisting with personal care, sensory support, and therapy sessions where required.
*Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to meet individual needs.
*Helping students build confidence, resilience, and independence in their learning.
What We’re Looking For *Experience with children in an educational, care, or SEND setting is essential.
*Knowledge of SEND and strategies to support students with additional needs is important.
*A positive, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children.
*The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff.
*An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
