Job Description:
Our client is one of Europe’s leading Private Debt funds. They are looking to add another high calibre individual to their growing Finance function to help lead and manage a team of qualified fund accountants. You will be qualified yourself with a strong track record in fund accounting within the private debt or private equity sector.
The Role
*External Fund Accounting and Reporting - conducts thorough review of quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners, e.g. Financial statements and Partner statements.
*Fund Operations - review of Drawdown / Distribution calculations and notices and monitoring cash & liquidity.
*Internal Fund Accounting and Reporting - developing and improving internal reporting output.
*Creation and implementation of new procedures for new fund structures and functions.
*Quarterly reporting manuals for any new funds.
*Limited Partner Requests - monitoring and review of audit; regular and ad hoc requests.
*Training - developing the understanding of the Fund Accountants regarding the Fund structures, software and processes.
Requirements
*You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post-qualified experience within fund accounting
*Private Debt/Credit or Private Equity fund accounting experience
*Seeking someone with relevant experience working "in house" as opposed to someone currently within third party fund administration
*Have well developed and effective team management experience
*Be commercial and dynamic
