The Management Accountant Role:
As the Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for providing accurate financial insights, managing budgets, and ensuring robust financial controls. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders and make a tangible impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

* Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.

* Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

* Monitor and manage costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

* Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support.

* Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For in the Management Accountant:
* Finalist or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

* Proven experience in a similar management accounting or assistant role.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

* Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

* Proficiency in accounting software and Excel skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

* A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
