Your new school

I am recruiting for a School Caretaker role located in a Cardiff Secondary School. The school is highly thought of within the local community and strives to create a welcoming ethos for all staff and pupils alike. The leadership team creates effective relationships with the school and community to ensure there is a safe and supportive environment in the school. You shall be joining a maintenance team who will be eager to welcome a new addition.
Your new role

As the Caretaker, you will be maintaining the school grounds. You will be responsible for the smooth running of operations in the school and will maintain the grounds. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
*Unlocking and locking up the school.
*General porterage
*Cleaning and maintenance of the building when needed.
*General repairs
*Events set-up and clear-up


What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will either have previous experience in a caretaking role or any handyperson position. Experience in general maintenance roles is desirable.
