Management Accountant | Yorkshire | More Than Just Numbers
Here’s the thing about this role - it’s not just about churning out monthly reports. We need someone who can see the story behind the numbers and isn’t afraid to speak up when they spot something interesting.
You’ll be working directly with a seasoned FC who’s keen to mentor the right person. They’re big on process improvement and automation (PowerBI skills would be a bonus, but enthusiasm to learn is more important).
What you’ll actually be doing:
*Owning the monthly management accounts (yes, the full cycle)
*Deep-diving into sales analysis
*Managing cash flow forecasting
*Leading a small team
*Making Excel bend to your will
The nitty gritty:
*Part-qualified is great (but don’t let that stop you applying if you’re QBE)
*You should be an inquisitive problem solver - the ability to challenge what is done and give solutions is more important than sector experience
*Strong Excel skills essential
*PowerBI knowledge = brownie points
