Description
*Overseeing the financial management and budgeting of the organisation.
*Financial Controller responsibilities
*Ensuring financial compliance and risk management.
*Liaising with stakeholders and other departments to ensure financial transparency.
*Preparing financial reports and statements for board meetings.
*Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
*Providing financial analysis and forecasting to guide decision-making.
*Mentoring and developing team members - you will have 3 direct reports
*Supporting with onboarding a new external auditor
Profile
A successful applicant will:
*Be a Qualfied Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
*Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and uplifting a finance team.
*Be able to bring on a new external auditor
*Have strong technical abilities
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Have extensive charity experience at the Head of Finance level
