First Achieve’s Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Manual Turner to join an established and growing company in the Fife region. Our client is an international defence manufacturer.
What’s on Offer:
*Temp (probation) to perm after 12 weeks
*Paying £18 per hour while under temp (probation) through agency
*Paying circa £16 per hour once permanent
*39hr work week
*4.5 day work week
*7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 1pm Fri
*OT 1.5x
This role will report directly to the Workshop Manager, manufacturing defence based components.
Duties will involve the following:
*manual turning of components in the workshop
*reading design and assembly drawings
*making use of power tools
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
The successful candidate must have:
*experience of manual turning and lathe operation
*experience operating in a workshop environment
*experience of reading engineering drawings
