Job Description:
*Location: Trowbridge, UK (with some travel required)

Reed Food & FMCG have been briefed by an excellent Food Manufacturing business as they seek to find a Continuous Improvement Manager. This role is designed for a proactive leader who can train and develop our teams into Continuous Improvement (CI) thinkers, enhancing efficiency and quality across all departments.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Develop, implement, and manage a continuous improvement program across all manufacturing teams, focusing on sustainable improvements from quick wins to long-term excellence.
*Provide training and support to the front-line management team, helping them address medium to long-term issues through root cause analysis and resolution.
*Work hands-on with various teams to identify and solve potential issues in the manufacturing process, ensuring stability and consistency.
*Drive a performance culture by motivating staff and aligning their efforts towards business excellence.
*Utilize modern world-class improvement tools, techniques, and thinking to challenge existing practices and drive change.
*Maintain project tracking systems, ensuring timely updates and reports are available for business insights.
*Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Significant experience applying LEAN methodology in a FMCG production environment.
*Proven track record in influencing and developing large, diverse teams.
*Lean, Six Sigma certification preferred.
*Strong digital proficiency and experience with Lean manufacturing tools such as Standard Work, 5S, SMED, RCA, FMEA, DMAIC, and VSM.
*Excellent leadership, supervisory, and coaching skills.
*Ability to plan, organise, and monitor performance against deadlines and milestones.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
