As a Temporary Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals for children in schools and nurseries. Your role will include:
*Planning and preparing balanced meals that meet dietary requirements.
*Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
*Managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
*Collaborating with school/nursery staff to create a positive dining experience for children.
*Adapting menus to accommodate allergies and special dietary needs.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a school or nursery setting.
*Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
*Ability to create nutritious and appealing meals for children.
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
*Flexibility to work on a temporary basis with varying hours.
