Job Description:
Position: Marketing Coordinator (Apprenticeship)
Location: Old Woking, Surrey
Reports to: Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will:
*Write, proofread, and edit marketing materials, including web pages, case studies and assist with industry award submissions
*CRM Administration: Maintain and update CRM system to inform our marketing activities
*Assist in creating PR for social media releases
*Support the implementation of social media strategies by researching, writing, and scheduling posts across platforms
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure engaging and accurate content across all channels
*Contribute to email campaigns and broader marketing initiatives
*Foster positive working relationships by maintaining effective communication with internal departments and the marketing team through email, phone, and in-person interactions
*Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks such as ordering print, organising events and general administrative duties
*Stay up-to-date with marketing communications best practices, suggesting improvements where appropriate
*To undertake any other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager

This is a full-time, in-office role, providing a collaborative space to grow and develop your career.

*Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Experience with desktop publishing (InDesign), social media management, and content creation
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enthusiasm to learn other IT systems
*Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
*A team player with the ability to work collaboratively
*Internet proficiency, including uploading and downloading documents
Qualifications & Experience
*Good GCSE’s
*A background in marketing or administration
*Desktop Publishing Experience (InDesign)
Appenticeship Training
Apprenticeships are off-the-job ’day release’ training programmes designed around the needs of MCS and you. The successful applicant will be supported by a mentor and by a college/university dedicated assessor.
