Time Recruitment are currently recruiting a production planning engineer to work for our industry leading client based in Manchester. Our client is a leading manufacturer within there field supplying machines within the aviation, rail and defence sectors. The purpose of thi role of production planning engineer is to support with planning and co-ordination of all manufacturing operations. Experience within a planning role would be essential for this role. Previous experience working on shop floor would also be desirable. The main duties in this role of production planning engineer will include:ng
*Checking and reviewing engineering and planning data
*Working to compliance procedures
*Contributing to production and planning reviews both internally and externally
*Producing manufacturing documentation
*Identifying engineering changes and trends
*Maintaining company numbering system
*Preparing budgets
*Panning manufacturing activities
*Working with material suppliers
*playing a key part in manufacturing decision making
The successful candidate must:
*Have great communication skills
*Have great attention to detail
*Be able to work under pressure
*Be comfortable working to budgets
*Have effective negotiation skills
