ACCOUNTANT - INSIDE IR35 - INITIAL 3 MONTHS
One of Loriens Dundee based public sector clients are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team for an initial 3 month contract, largely remote working with few days for initial training and on boarding.
Essential Skills
*Membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or part professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CIPFA, CA, ACCA, ACMA)
*Experience of budget monitoring reports
*Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in excel
*Experience of ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations
*Experience working in an accounting environment
*Experience working with internal and external customers at all levels
*Experience of providing financial advice and support to budget holders
*Accurate numeracy skills demonstrating attention to detail
*Ability to work on own initiative, manage own time, prioritise and meet multiple tight deadlines
*Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills
*Relevant experience in a similar public sector financial environment
