Customer Service, Warehouse, Pick, Pack, Despatch and Transport
c. £ 65,000 pa + attractive bonus and benefits
Leeds
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a dedicated team, you will be responsible for leading the Customer Service, Warehouse, Pick, Pack, Despatch and Transport departments.
Your primary objective will be to deliver efficient, cost-effective operations that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the customer service team to provide exceptional support and resolve any issues promptly.
*Manage and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
*Supervise pick pack despatch processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
*Coordinate transport logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
*Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve efficiency and productivity.
*Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
*Train, mentor, and develop staff to achieve their full potential.
Experience
*Proven experience as an Operations Manager or a similar role.
*Strong knowledge of customer service, pick, pack, despatch and warehouse operations.
*Excellent leadership and team management skills.
*Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
