A leader in the packaging solutions space, this consultancy partners with blue-chip organisations across FMCG, retail, logistics, and manufacturing. Renowned for their consultative approach, they stand apart by delivering on promises and exceeding customer expectations.
What’s the role about?
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
*Identify and secure new business opportunities across target industries.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
*Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring growth and alignment with KPIs.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handovers and implementation.
Drive strategic market penetration through consultative selling and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
*Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities valued at £63 million annually.
*Conduct proactive customer engagement via in-person and virtual meetings.
*Align customer needs with innovative packaging solutions to create tailored strategies.
*Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure efficient handovers to Packaging Consultants.
*Deliver value-driven pitches that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements About You:
You’re someone who:
*Has a proven track record in strategic B2B sales, preferably within packaging or a similar consultative industry.
*Is a natural networker with excellent relationship-building skills.
*Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs.
*Is commercially astute, with the ability to align client challenges with innovative solutions.
*Brings high energy, creativity, and perseverance to their role.
Benefits Hours: 41¼ per week.
Salary: £60-70K + potential ~£5-10K company bonus scheme.
Location: Attend HQ in Leeds 1 day per week, but can be based in Yorkshire, East Midlands, West Midlands, North West.
Benefits: Company Car Provided - VW Passat Spec or equivalent. Business mileage paid.
