This role requires an Employee Relations Manager to lead and develop the ER department in a rapidly growing technology and telecoms company, located in Birmingham.

*Lead and manage the Employee Relations function for this business.
*Develop and implement ER strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
*Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
*Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
*Develop and monitor overall ER strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the company.
*Nurture a positive working environment.
*Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Profile
A successful Employee Relations Manager should have:
*A degree in Human Resources or related field.
*Proven working experience as an ER manager in a ’white collar’ environment.
*People oriented and results driven.
*Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
*Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
*Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
*Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
*In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
