Job Description:
Due to expansion this well known accident management company are looking to recruit a number of motor claims handlers to work in their Rochdale office.
This role is crucial for maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring that claims are handled promptly and efficiently from start to finish. If you are a proactive individual with an excellent telephone manner and a passion for providing high levels of customer service, this could be the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
*Act as the first point of contact for clients from regular referral sources.
*Handle new claims, gathering comprehensive details to assess validity and recovery potential.
*Manage an allocated caseload of ongoing claims, ensuring clients are kept informed and their cases are progressing efficiently.
*Work diligently to return clients to their pre-accident position, whether through repair of their vehicle or payment of the pre-accident value.
*Ensure that claims progress swiftly, working to secure recovery of losses for the client.
Preferred Skills
*Knowledge of ABI/GTA (Association of British Insurers/General Terms of Agreement).
*Familiarity with the Phonetic Alphabet.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
*Basic understanding of internet technologies.
*Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
*Strong customer service orientation.
*Ability to manage multiple claims effectively and efficiently.
*A proactive and can-do attitude with a focus on problem-solving.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm - 1 hour for lunch
One Saturday in every three. 9am till 12pm which is paid as overtime
A competitive salary and benefits packge is on offer plus paid overtime opportunities and free parking.
Please note is this 100% office based and no working from home is an option
