About the Role:
Seafast is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team in Felixstowe. This role involves overseeing stock levels, conducting counts, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
Shift Pattern: 08.00 - 17.00 - 5 out of 7 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct stock counts across various on-site environments.
*Obtain and maintain MHE licenses for stock counting tasks.
*Perform cycle counts and update WMS stock quantities.
*Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily stock control tasks.
*Support department administration and maintain good communication.
*Assist with day-to-day business activities as needed.
*Investigate stock errors and report findings.
*Maintain department records and databases.
*Monitor customer stock needs and availability.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience:
*Excellent attention to detail
*Strong drive to see tasks through to completion
*Effective written and verbal communication skills
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
*Experience in both office and warehouse environments
*Understanding of warehousing and supply chain processes
*Good time management skills
*Adaptability, drive, and a proactive approach
