Operating across Manufacturing and Retail sectors, they are recruiting an interim Management Accountant for a six-month contract. The role will support the business in an important phase of growth and transformation.
The company embraces flexible working, with a hybrid setup of three days per week in their Nottingham office and two days from home.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll play an integral part in the finance team, focusing on:
*Performance Analysis & Reporting: Deliver insights into manufacturing and operational performance across multiple business channels
*Management Accounting & Business Partnering: Prepare and present variance analyses, oversee month-end processes, and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations
*Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead planning activities for operational functions and provide clear financial direction to stakeholders
*Audit & Compliance: Support statutory reporting, audits, and due diligence processes as required.
*Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute your expertise to various strategic initiatives and special projects
What We’re Looking For:
*Manufacturing sector experience
*Strong Management Accounting skills: Proven ability to manage financial operations and reporting effectively
*Excellent Communication skills: Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration, and delivering insights
*Problem-Solving Ability: A proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial challenges.
