Logistics / Marine / Shipment Coordinator
Belcan Workforce Solutions is offering a 12-month contract for a Marine / Shipment Coordinator with a multinational oil and gas corporation in London. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating and implementing safe, efficient, and cost-effective dispatch and voyage operations of chartered vessels. You will manage terminal/refinery inventory, lifting, and delivery schedules for crude and petroleum products.
Key Responsibilities:
*Coordinate cargo operations and scheduling.
*Manage third-party equipment contracts.
*Generate scheduling orders and ensure proper vetting of marine equipment.
*Issue voyage orders and letters of indemnity.
*Optimise fleet operations for cost reductions.
*Provide accurate schedule and voyage information to stakeholders.
*Arrange bunker supply for time-chartered vessels.
*Support long-range planning and refinery turnarounds.
*Resolve billing disputes and minimise demurrage losses.
Qualifications:
*Degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
*Marine Commercial experience in freight operations and risk management.
*Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
*Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
*Knowledge of marine logistics.
