Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well known and reputable business in Sheffield as they look to recruit a new Payroll Manager into the team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a monthly payroll for approximately 300+ employees. The hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week) and there is opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.

Duties will include: -
*Direct line management of 1 member of staff
*Undertake and lead payroll processing for the company
*Budgeting and reporting on variances
*Control and oversee the time and attendance system
*Understand and lead on taxation and engage with HMRC on tax issues
*Produce monthly insights into staffing costs
*Processing of P11ds
*Calculate holiday accruals
*Ensure that all correspondence and queries are dealt with in a timely manner
To be successful you will possess the following skills and experiences: -
*At least 3 years experience in Payroll (end to end)
*Previous supervisory experience in payroll
*Excellent communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*The ability to work to tight deadlines and cope well under pressure
*Hold or working towards a professional payroll qualification (Preferable)
*Sage Payroll 50 experience (Preferable)
