Job Description:
We are a small, well established training company in the Financial Services sector who are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join us in a full-time role.
The BDM will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing customer relationships, developing new client relationships, and liaising with the training team to win and fulfil bookings. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a good knowledge of our product offerings.
The Role:
*Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
*Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation, cold-calling and research
*Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on our range of products and services
*Handle incoming customer inquiries, provide price quotes and proposals, and process bookings
*Working from home but the ability to organise and attend client meetings in London
The Person:
You will be self-motivated with the drive and determination to establish new business as well as an ability to spot opportunities for growth within existing client relationships. Previous working knowledge of the financial services and/or training sector would be a big advantage in this role.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and build rapport
*Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close deals
*Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets

*Strong organisation and written communication skills
OTE: Approximately £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
