Description
*Credit Controller:
*Managing and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger
*Ensuring timely receipt of payments from customers
*Resolving credit control issues and disputes
*Conducting credit checks on potential clients
*Generating financial reports related to accounts receivable and ageing
*Communicating with clients regarding their accounts and payments
*Working closely with the accounting team to implement processes and policies that contribute to accurate invoicing
*Assisting in ad hoc finance projects as required
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*An academic background in accounting, finance or a related field
*Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and policies
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
*Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*An ability to work independently and as part of a team
