Your New Role
Our client is a well established and regarded electronics manufacturer based in West Berkshire, who are looking for a forward thinking and driven Purchasing Manager to join the team. The role is a nice mix of hands on and strategic work, where you will be required to establish and implement short and long term goals, strategic plans and policies aligned to the organisation. You will be required to manage supplier relationships, looking to enhance operational efficiency and driving cost effectiveness ensuring long term goal at forefront of all decisions.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally, you will have demonstrable experience working within a similar position in the electronics industry. You will have an extensive knowledge of procurement systems, with exceptional awareness of processes and procedures. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to quickly build lasting relationships. Negotiation is at the forefront of this position, so you must have strong commercial awareness. Personality wise, you will be a self starter who has the desire to hit the ground running.
