Group Financial Controller | Global Creative Agency | Central London | 12 month FTC
Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a Global Creative Agency with their search for a Group Financial Controller to join their rapidly growing team. Turning over around £200mill, they have a current headcount of around 150 out of their London HQ and another 15 offices globally and are looking to expand further. The agency has strong focus on social media and online communities to deliver world class outputs for their brands. The Role:
You will focus on all aspects of accounting, treasury and line managing junior finance team members as well as supporting the finance function in moving to the next phase of its development. The Group Financial Controller will serve as the primary contact for all financial accounting and treasury related issues and be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the group’s accounting records. You will also be responsible for full ownership of all reporting to ensure that this is done on a timely basis, is accurate, follows accounting policies and in a format that promotes engagement and good financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead, manage and perform all accounting duties for effective and smooth running of the group accounts finance department
*Manage month end reporting - providing high quality management reporting and analysis
*Financial Accounting & Control
*Ensure provision of financial information for external reporting is timely, accurate and compliant with IFRS.
*Provide high-quality consolidation and reporting of the M&C Saatchi Group financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
*Treasury and Working Capital - optimising the cash position by ensuring a tight control on the Working Capital environment
*Ensuring tax compliance, including review of corporation tax computations, VAT returns, P11Ds and PSA
*Manage cash flow to ensure cash surplus to meet all financial & cost commitments.
*Supporting the Finance Director with Board reporting, high-level analysis and adhoc requests
*Line managing junior-mid finance team members
What We Need to See (Essential Skills):
*ACA qualified
*3-5 years’ post qualified experience working in industry
*Experience of establishing internal controls and processes through process automation
*Strong attention to detail, communication and presentation skills
*Good all-rounder, proactive, team player
What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):
*Creative Agency / Media experience
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £100,000 - £130,000
