NXTGEN has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a world renowned company on a 4-month temporary contract. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the analysis, control, and reporting of financial information for specific business areas. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team as a Finance Analyst and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including KPI packs
*Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss, and balance sheet, including journal preparation and posting
*Support the Finance Manager in improving reporting, analysis, and commentary
*Streamline processes and undertake additional tasks as needed
*Analyse costs against budget and forecast
*Communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
*Provide ad hoc financial analysis and project work
*Collaborate with the Central Finance team to ensure proper allocation of costs and benefits
*Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
*Strong relationship-building and communication skills across various levels
*Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
*Ability to meet strict deadlines and produce high-quality work
*Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables)
*Experience with Anaplan, SAP, and PowerBI is desirable
