Job Description:
Our client, a renowned children’s charity, is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to join their Executive Support team on an initial 3-month contract, ideally on a full-time Hybrid basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work supporting while showcasing your professional expertise.
The ideal candidate will be immediately or available to start at short notice.
The Role:
As a Personal Assistant, you will be at the heart of the organisation, ensuring seamless operations within the Executive Support Team. You will work closely with senior Directors who oversees a significant remit within the charity.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide high-level administrative support to the Operations Director
*Assist with Board-level committees meetings, supporting the CEO, Board, and senior executives as needed.
*Line manage the Coordinator, ensuring the smooth running of meetings and providing cover during leave periods.
*Take accurate and detailed minutes for critical meetings.
*Collaborate with the team to manage external calls on a rota basis.
Key Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a charitable or non-profit organisation, local authority or healthcare.
*Experience with recruitment and onboarding new starters
*Proven record of detailed, accurate and timely minute-taking
*Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle varied responsibilities.
*Previous knowledge and understanding of Social Care/ children’s social care
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
