A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a growing Renewable Energy team. The team works with a diverse client base, including developers, investors, landowners, funders, communities and planning authorities in Scotland’s renewable energy sector.
This role is suitable for a solicitor with experience in energy law or those from a commercial property or rural background who are looking to transition into the renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
*Draft and negotiate documents such as exclusivity agreements, options and leases
*Conduct due diligence on renewable energy projects
*Provide legal support to clients in the renewables supply chain
Projects will include wind, hydro, rooftop and ground-mounted solar, battery storage, marine and emerging green hydrogen sectors. The firm provides training as needed and encourages involvement in industry events and client bulletins.
