You will join the Screening Team which supports the Bank to oversee the maintenance of a robust AFC screening programme to manage Sanctions and AML risk in line with the Bank’s risk appetite.

Your key responsibilities *Support Sanctions Programme Screening Oversight Team to execute activities to drive the sanctions and screening strategy for all business divisions, across list management, name screening and transaction screening
*Build and understand the Bank’s screening systems, data, processes and controls, providing day-to-day subject matter expert guidance and advice on all screening related matters
*Support execution of key data and screening related controls to ensure the Bank is meeting its policy requirements
*Support implementation of periodic testing framework to measure and maintain the effectiveness of screening programmes and provide input into the tuning methodology to increase efficiency of alert generation
*Assist with the evaluation and assessment of new and innovative techniques which will provide greater efficacy and efficiency across screening processes, including participation at industry forums and vendor user groups
Your skills and experience *Knowledge of end-to-end name and transaction screening systems, processes, risks and controls
*Understanding of United States, United Kingdom and European sanctions laws, regulations and guidance, with understanding wider AFC requirements preferred but not essential
*Educated to bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification/work experience with relevant background in Business, Finance/Technology
*Analytical skills with ability to evaluate options logically, objectively, and critically taking into account multiple sanctions regimes and/or requirements
*Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
