Grafton Banks Finance are working exclusively with a reputable organisation in West Sussex to recruit an Assistant Accountant to their ever-growing, successful finance team. The role sits within a team of 6, where you you’ll be supporting with the day to day running of the team, completing all the necessary transactional, reporting and analysis based work. They are currently going through a recruitment drive and are requiring someone at the PQ/QBE level, who can support the businesses growth. The company has seen good levels of growth, so this would be an excellent opportunity to work alongside an established successful business.
*Support and manage an accounts team of 6
*Preparation and review of accounts for multiple companies
*Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation’s
*Involved with preparing, reviewing and submission of monthly VAT returns for multiple companies
*Posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
*Develop and improve accounting systems, processes and reporting
*Variance analysis and commentary of results on a monthly basis
*Assist in the year end audit and liaise with external auditors
