About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Director to join our dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key client relationships, driving sales, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, who can effectively manage and develop a portfolio of high-value clients.
Key duties and responsibilities are:
*Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. Serve as the primary point of contact for all client communications and inquiries.
*Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives. Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the assigned client portfolio.
*Account Management: Oversee the management of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their needs, provide solutions, and update them on new products and services.
*Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure client needs are met and exceeded. Provide feedback and insights to improve product offerings and customer experience.
*Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends. Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
*Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and contract renewals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company policies and objectives.
*Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Use this information to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
*Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
*Proven experience as a Client Director or in a similar senior sales role.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
*Strong leadership and team management abilities.
*Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Salesforce preferred.
*Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
*Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
*Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
