Job Description:
Are you a governance professional with experience in the Lloyd’s and London insurance market? Are you ready to play a pivotal role in driving a robust claims governance framework? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
About the Role:
As the Wholesale Claims Governance Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring compliance and oversight within a leading claims team that manages both company market and Lloyd’s of London claims. Collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll provide critical input on governance matters, oversee regulatory relationships, and contribute to a high-performing, customer-centric claims operation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure compliance with claims and delegated claims standards, including leading annual reviews and attestations.
*Manage key relationships and requirements under the Lloyd’s Principles for Doing Business framework.
*Own the year-end financial audit process and internal audits of claims processes and controls.
*Lead the governance response to regulatory changes and oversee the claims declinature and complaints processes.
*Oversee and develop quality assurance functions, including peer and technical review processes.
What We’re Looking For:
*Extensive governance experience, ideally within claims or technical insurance.
*Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and London market frameworks.
*Proactive approach to process improvement and oversight of risk control frameworks.
*Experience managing regulator expectations and understanding consumer duty frameworks.
*Excellent stakeholder management, reporting, and leadership skills.
