We are partnering with a global fund which is looking to bring a Junior Operations and Finance Analyst into their London office. This a fantastic opportunity to work across multi asset classes and focus on sustainable investments from a finance and operations perspective. This broad position will provide exposure to transaction data management, fund finance, fund management and ad-hoc duties such as valuations within an impressive firm, with a positive and collaborative workplace environment. What the job involves *Ensure that all transactions are booked in the internal system in an accurate and timely manner
*Update valuation of the underlying investments in a timely and accurate manner
*Assist with preparation of annual accounts for investing entities
*Assist with the review of statutory accounts prepared by external counterparty
*Support cash management function - ensure that liquidity is available where/when it is needed
*Stay up to date with the private equity team’s activities and funding requirements via interdepartmental meetings
Who we are looking for *Operations/accounting experience
*An accounting or finance degree from a top university
*Very strong attention to detail
*Good analytical skills and understanding of financial markets and instruments
*Well organised, disciplined approach to work, with a positive problem-solving attitude
*Strong verbal and written communication skills, given the significant degree of both internal and external interaction
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and some investment administration software
