HR Officer - Fixed Term - 2 years
Salary up to £30,000
Location Didsbury, Manchester
Temporary, Full Time
Working as part of the People team, as our People Officer, you will work across all HR business areas offering first line support and guidance to managers, colleagues and HR / People Services partners in line with our Policies and Procedures.
What you’ll be doing
* Supporting managers in sickness absence reviews and completing occupational health referrals.
* Taking notes and providing HR support and guidance in a variety of meetings, including disciplinary investigations, back on track meetings and flexible working meetings etc.
* Have a good understanding of Great Places policies and be able to direct colleagues and managers to relevant policies and provide guidance when needed.
* Supporting the recruitment process e.g. uploading vacancies onto the recruitment system and assisting with interviews.
* Supporting with the preparation and facilitation of training courses.
* Supporting with Ad-hoc project work as and when required e.g. updating policies.

What you’ll need
* CIPD level 3 or working towards
* Experience of working in a HR team at a similar level or looking for a step up to gain more experience
* The ability to build strong relationships with Managers across the business
* The ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner
* Experience of using Microsoft Office
