Job Description:
Are you a Field Service Engineer or an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a new career with a Major UK supplier of Tools & Industrial Assembly Solutions based in Wolverhampton?

Annual Salary: £40,000 with OTE £60,000
Weekly Hours: Mon to Fri - 8am to 4pm

You will be part of the Service Business Line and support our Industrial Technique business areas:
Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI), General Industry (GI), Industrial Assembly Solutions (IAS)
Roles and Responsibilities: *Perform pre-delivery testing and inspection of tools as appropriate before delivery/site installation.
*Installation and commissioning of new tooling and industrial assembly solutions at customer locations.
*Provide support and assistance for project delivery, working closely with Project Managers.
*System integration and configuration of customer PLC interfaces
*Test and validation.
*Problem resolution and root cause analysis.
*Customer training and operation guidance.
*Support customer staff in the pilot phases.
*Determine and undertake all necessary preventative maintenance on all power tool products, Industrial Assembly Solutions products, and software solutions.
*Manage the calibration, testing, and certification of all power tool products.
*Identify and deliver sales opportunities (software/upgrades, optimization) for field service, working closely with our Service Sales Managers.
*You will ideally be located in the Midlands.
*You will be field-based covering UK-wide. You will be remote with a dedicated territory. #LI-Remote
*Occasional overnight stays and overtime following customer and our requirements will be expected.
*You will report directly to the Service Team Manager.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Required: Desirable/Qualifications: *HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent or relevant experience.
*Have experience in a Manufacturing Environment
*Must be PC Literate
*Full Driving Licence
Knowledge: *Have knowledge of Industrial Power Tools i.e. Pneumatic, Battery and DC, and supporting software.
*Have knowledge of either a Manufacturing or Customer Service Environment.
*Network infrastructure knowledge
*Experience of PLC’s and line control systems.
*Have experience in providing a Service to customers.
*Software platforms
Personality: *A confident person who is a good team player.
*Must have an eye for details, also drive, and commitment to see the job through to a successful conclusion.
*Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and determined.
*Keen for new experience, responsibility, and accountability.
*Can grow customer base offering regular services
