Qualified Teaching Assistant - Cardiff Position: Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Cardiff
Key Stage: KS2
Are you passionate about working with children and making a difference in their education? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in a supportive Primary School in Cardiff.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will:
*Hold a Level 1/2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or a BA in Primary Education.
*Have experience working within a Primary School setting or experience working with children in another capacity.
*Possess an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one).
*Be registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) - we can assist with this process if needed.
Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Work full-time within a KS2 classroom, supporting the class teacher with daily tasks and activities.
*Provide 1:1 support to pupils with reading, helping to develop their literacy skills.
*Assist in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
*Support small group activities to encourage learning and participation.
*Help with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials.
