Job Description:
Electrical Engineer, COR7128
As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you’ll leverage your expertise in electrical engineering to work with both internal and external engineering staff to produce electrical system designs for a variety of projects for external clients, including positioning controls for remote handling systems, machinery controls, safety circuits and LV/ELV systems to name but a few. The Electrical Engineer will use electrical CAD software to produce schematics, hook-ups and other electrical design documentation, and will also contribute to risk assessment and hazard analysis as well as supporting physical commissioning and in-house test activities.

What’s required to be successful in this Electrical Engineer role?
*Proven experience within electrical engineering, with skills in electrical design, safety circuits, distributed I/O and low voltage systems to name a few
*Experience of producing electrical systems designs in areas such as remote handling, robotics, motion control - encoders/resolvers - etc.
*Use of electrical CAD software such as Trimble (Amtech), PAScal and SEE
