Job Summary
The Canada Life Asset Management Distribution Team based in London has four sales channels it looks to generate new business sales from and this role exists to provide day to day support for the distribution team covering the UK advisory channel. The role supports the sale of Canada Life Asset Management funds across the advisory channel. Focussing on CL UK Wealth distribution, platforms, strategic distribution partners and ratings agencies. This role is outward facing and is essential as part of delivering the correct customer experience.
What You’ll Do *To help drive UK advisory sales channel BDM’s and risk/compliance activity through the production of sales materials, meeting clients’ service needs, proactively and reactive and hosting meetings where appropriate.
*To support the delivery of all activity with CL UK and strategic partners including: updating required due diligence material, organising event follow up activity and supporting events as required.
*To supply and develop all the data and information to support the Company’s Platform relationship: platform fund additions, advisory MI reporting & maintaining the advisory team monthly platform sales MI tool
*To work with the Institutional Discretionary and Group channels. Be aware of key activities in discretionary and group channels in order to provide cover for holiday periods.
Who You Are *Awareness of the investment industry and fund-related issues (both from a fund management & regulatory standpoint) is desirable
*Proficiency in excel, PowerPoint & CRM systems expected
Qualifications *Investment-related qualifications (Investment Management Certificate, CFA ESG etc) desirable
*Degree in finance, business, economics preferred
