Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Fabric Manager to take the lead in maintaining and enhancing the building fabric of a prestigious venue based in Ascot, Berkshire. This role involves overseeing an in-house team, ensuring compliance with legal and safety regulations, and driving continuous improvements in facilities management.
Key Responsibilities for the Facilities Fabric Manager role based in Ascot, Berkshire:
*Manage the building fabric, ensuring all maintenance meets legal and safety standards.
*Lead, support, and develop the in-house Facilities Fabric team.
*Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including asset lifecycle planning.
*Oversee signage, stock control, and procurement of non-contracted consumables.
*Provide technical support for events.
*Manage outsourced contractors to maintain high standards of performance.
*Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
*Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices in Facilities Management.
Key Requirements for the Facilities Fabric Manager role based in Ascot, Berkshire:
*A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a building fabric trade (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
*Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
*Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
*Experience with procurement, contracts, and facilities-specific software.
*Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
