Job Description:
An exceptional Special Needs school based in Crowborough are currently looking for an experienced Special Needs Teacher in need of a full/part time role.
The school itself encourages independence and strives to inspire students to reach their full potential.
As a Special Needs Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver tailored lessons for students with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with other teaching staff to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Your key responsibilities as a Special Needs Teacher:
*Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs.
*Monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and adjustments to teaching methods as necessary.
*Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and motivated to learn.
*Be able to remain calm and composed if presented with challenging behaviour.
*Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.
Requirements:
*Hold QTS
*Knowledge and understanding of a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural difficulties.
*Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
*Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
*Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
