Overview:

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Project/Business Development Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel, but all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
*Support the director in the delivery of all fire door and passive fire projects, ensuring successful project execution.
*Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
*Assist in business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and supporting the growth of the company’s service offerings.
*Support fire door inspections, complete fire door reports, and submit findings to clients in a timely and professional manner.
*Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and project specifications.
*Maintain accurate project documentation and reports, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.
*Manage and deliver all estimating functions, including the preparation and submission of client quotations.
*Scan industry portals for new work opportunities and contribute to business growth strategies.
*Attend client meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and build strong working relationships.
*Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining compliance across all projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
*Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
*BM Trada 3rd party accreditation knowledge is required to ensure compliance with industry standards.
*Familiarity with fire door inspection applications such as One Trace or Boris is highly desirable.
*In-depth understanding of fire door and fire stopping regulations, ensuring all work meets the necessary legal and safety standards.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
*Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing projects and responsibilities.
*Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
*A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and seeing tasks through to completion.
