Job Description:
First Achieve’s Engineering Division are seeking a MIG Welder/Fabricator for their client based in Battle who specialise in outdoor landscape products and solutions.
Please note this position is for a Morning Shift (6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday, 40hrs/week).
Successful Candidate requires a Full UK Drivers License due to location of our client’s site.
£14-15/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
*Read and interpret engineering drawings, and technical specifications to understand project requirements.
*Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to weld fabricated metal components.
*Measure, cut, shape, and prepare metal materials such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel for fabrication.
*Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery (such as grinders, saws, and shears) to form metal components.
*Assemble fabricated parts into final products using jigs, clamps, or fixtures.
Experience:
*Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator or similar role.
*Knowledge of MIG welding techniques and welding codes.
*Familiarity with metal fabrication tools and machinery.
