Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with an Aerospace business based within the Sheffield area.
They currently have a rare opportunity for a TIG Welder to join their existing team.
PAY:
£18.87ph (inclusive of shift allowance)
HOURS:
Current hours of work are Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Conduct weld inspection operations to customer drawings
*Conduct TIG welding as and when required
*Conduct weld repairs as and when required
*Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer as well as internal standards and specifications (NADCAP and AS9100 standards)
*Interpret drawings
*Work meticulously to work instructions and procedures
*Keep equipment operational by completing autonomous maintenance requirements
*Provide feedback on production issues as and when they arise
*Know and understand company and department policies and safety procedures
*Other duties as assigned, requested or needed
*Work on semi-automated welding equipment for both Circumferential and Longitudinal welds
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
*NVQ/qualification in Engineering discipline - Desirable
*Proven track record in welding - Essential
*Must be able to work from 0.7-3ml
*Have experience with exotic alloys
*Aerospace experience – Desirable
*Experience with semi-automated Welding - Desirable
