Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for a Purchase Manager in the SN4 area. In this role, you’ll manage stock levels, optimize processes, and ensure efficient purchasing to meet business needs. *Temp to perm

Key responsibilities:
*Managing stock levels, generating reports, and conducting regular inventory counts.
*Placing orders to replenish stock and forecasting demand using data analysis.
*Utilizing inventory software to track levels, optimize reorder points, and reduce costs.
*Collaborating with Operations and Sales teams to streamline processes.
*Leading projects like implementing barcoding for medical devices.
*Identifying products/services for purchase and verifying suppliers.
*Working with the Quality team to ensure stock meets company standards.
*Managing budgets, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining procurement records.
About the right candidate:
*Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience).
*Experience with inventory management software (Cin 7 and Zero experience a plus).
*Strong communication and collaboration skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
*Ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
