We are seeking a diligent and experienced Health and Safety Manager, with manufacturing experience, who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety laws, establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.

Description
*Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies/systems
*Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices
*Promoting a positive H&S culture throughout he business
*Incident reporting and investigations
*Manage and develop continual improvement practices
*Manage a H&S budget on a monthly basis
*Report audit findings/action plans to Leadership teams
*Hold regular safety meetings with leadership teams
Profile
A successful Health and Safety Manager should have:
*Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager
*Experience in conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections
*Experience in liaising with external bodies (HSE)
*Knowledge of Health & Safety, Environmental and quality standards for the manufacturing sector
*Ability to manager projects and lead change effectively
*NEBOSH General Certificate
*Self motivated/proactive
*COSHH assessment experience
