Online Tutor (Maths & English) *Job Type: Temporary (Cover)

*Dates: 7th March - 21st March & 28th March - 11th April
*Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
We are seeking a dedicated Online Tutor to provide temporary cover for our Maths and English classes via Google Classroom. This role is crucial in maintaining continuity for our students in years 8-11 during the specified periods. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all lessons, ensuring a consistent learning experience for up to 3 pupils per group. This position requires registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as the school is based in Wales.
Day-to-day of the role: *Deliver 6 x 50-minute lessons daily between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
*Conduct lessons through Google Classroom, ensuring a stable and engaging online learning environment.
*Prepare and follow through with lesson plans provided by the current tutor during a half-day handover.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing individual feedback to enhance their learning experience.
*Manage and maintain records of student attendance and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience as an Online Tutor, specifically in Maths and English.
*Familiarity with Google Classroom and other relevant educational technologies.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students from year 8 to year 11.
*Commitment to delivering all sessions throughout the cover period to ensure consistency for the students.
*Must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales.
